Directory Site and Services

Problem

Create a directory site that allows customers to find local specialist service providers while helping providers market their services and improve reach.

Solution

Build a mobile-friendly web application. Include a way for service providers to register and incorporate marketing material. Also, provide a method to purchase marketing services aimed at their industry. Integrate with the marketing services to make it easy for service providers to do all their marketing work on this site. We helped with requirements gathering, design, and user experience to craft a solution that fit the budget.

Problem

A prior consultant had recommended a “forklift” upgrade of all software and hardware. This was not a realistic solution for a tight budget non-profit.

Solution

Our team reviewed the current systems and processes. We then provided a long-term plan that allowed for incremental changes and a staff training process. This let them phase in changes as they were able to and provided a clearer path forward. We also helped transition a new hire into the role and provided them with documentation to help them manage their new role.
